Ruby J. Wilson


Ruby J. Wilson, 74, of Springfield, died at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009, in her residence. She was born on May 28, 1934, in Paintsville, Kentucky the daughter of James A. and Lola (Salyers) Thompson.

Survivors include her four children, Richard A. Wilson of Springfield, Missouri, George H. Wilson, Jr., Linda L. (Tom) DeWitt and Brenda Wilson all of Springfield; two sisters, Willa Mae Endicott of Springfield and Vickie L. (Bill) Bennington of Hager Hill, Kentucky; brother, James E. Thompson of Kansas City, Kansas; Step sister Rebecca Estep of Hager Hill, KY; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Wilson in 2005 and her brother, William A. Thompson.

Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with her grandson, Richard A. Wilson, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Community Mercy Hospice.
