Raymond Lee Webster
Raymond Lee Webster, 53, of Springfield passed away May 20, 2008.
He was born in Willard, Ohio on June 26, 1954, the son of Edwin Franklin and Yvonne (Yates) Webster.
Ray was a member of the Moose Lodge, the Union Club, and a lifetime member of AMVETS. His hobbies include golfing, the Dallas Cowboys and UK basketball. Ray had been a barber for 30 years, most recently at Shearlocks. He served his country in the Ohio Air National Guard.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and son Chuck Webster.
His survivors include one daughter Lindsey Webster; one son and daughter in law Jeremiah (Alexis) Ilges both of Springfield; four brothers Eddie (Audrey) Webster of Tampa, FL, John (Tammy) Webster of Phoenix, AZ, Jim (Vicky) Webster of Urbana, and his youngest brother and best friend Joe Webster of Springfield; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and girlfriend Sherry Scribner of Springfield.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with Pastor Dan Reihing officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to services. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions are requested to the family in care of the memorial home.
