Mary Anna Wilson


Mary Anna Wilson, 67, of Auburndale, Florida, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in her residence. She was born on June 14, 1941 in Springfield the daughter of Dale E. and Anna L. (Haney) Miller.

Mary Anna was Community Relations Director for the Community Blood Center for eighteen years retiring in 1993. She was passionate about helping people through the center and was the first to establish a high school blood drive campaign.

She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Tom Wilson, her mother, three children and their spouses: Jenny and Glenn Daniel of Troy; Jeff and Cindy Wilson of Woodstock, Georgia; and Jill and Steve Brown of Springfield; five grandchildren: Matthew, Megan, Taylor, Nicholas, and Ryan; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerry and Nancy Miller of Tipp City; and Don and Libby Miller of Bucyrus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
