Leo G. Wiles


Leo G. Wiles, 73, of Springfield, died at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008 in Mercy St. John's Center.

He was born July 2, 1935 in Russellville, OH to Oscar Wiles and Blanche (Hile) Wiles Fawley.

Leo retired from Navistar after 34 years of service. He was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother and step father, Blanche and Lewis Fawley; 3 children and spouses, Vicky and John Collier, Timothy and Ellie Wiles and Michael Wiles; a granddaughter, Angela (Damon) Burks; 2 great grandchildren, Zackary and Kamryn; 2 step sisters, Marilyn (Paul) Vance and Connie Robertson; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, David and Kim James and their grandson, Trey all of Springfield.

Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Mr. John Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
