John M. Wallsteadt


John M. Wallsteadt, 82, of Springfield passed away Monday evening, May 12, 2008 in the Ohio Masonic Home.

He was born December 16, 1925 in McMillian, Michigan, the son of Carl and Vining Wallsteadt.

John was a veteran of the United States Army and served our country proudly during World War II. He retired from the City Tax Department as a Supervisor with over 30 years of service. After retirement, John went on and worked 18 years for City National Bank.

He is survived by his one very close friend, Dale E. Philpot of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are being handled by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
