Floyd T. Wiseman


Floyd T. Wiseman, 75, of Springfield, died Friday, September 28, 2007 in his residence.

He was born September 1, 1932, the son of Omar and Violet (Streitenberger) Wiseman. He had worked as a machinist and inspector at Kelsey Hayes Speco and retired after 43 years. Floyd enjoyed fishing, woodworking and loved his family.

He is survived by three sons and spouses, Craig Wiseman, Clarkson, Michigan, Scott (Tony) Wiseman, Fremont, Ohio and Todd (Debbie) Wiseman, Springfield; three daughters and spouses, Connie Flannery (Mike), Springfield, Ohio, Cheryl (David) Sharp, Madison, Alabama and Felicia (David) McAfee, Springfield, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Chelseah, Jessica, Joey, Antonia, Megan, Anthony and Rebecca, all of Springfield, Jennifer (D.J.), Kettering, Shane (Julie), Casey and Brett (Melody) of Madison, Alabama; 4 great grandchildren, Hannah, Springfield and Loghan, Corey and Kinley, Madison, Alabama; one brother, Donovan (Wilma Jean) Wiseman, Lakeland, Florida; sister-in-law, Dorothy Wiseman, Jamestown, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and former wife, care giver and dear friend, Myrna Wiseman, Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Norman.

Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. Bernard Catholic Church with cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
