Catherine (Combs Keeton) Whitt, 57, of Springfield died Sunday, February 22, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hazard County, Kentucky on January 26, 1952, the daughter of Samuel Donald and Rachael (Williams) Combs.

Her survivors include five children Charles, Jason, Angela, Daniel, and Lucas Keeton, 23 grandchildren, three sisters Connie (Ralph) Jenkins, Diane (Brad) Jennings, and Joyce (Richard) Pierce, two brothers Samuel (Debbie) Combs and Mike Combs, also a special daughter in law Tasha Walls and several nieces and nephews.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and triplet siblings Mary, Martha, and John Combs.

A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
