Mary Naomi Vandegriff


Mary Naomi Vandegriff, 78, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday October 20, 2008.

She was born December 10, 1929 in Gradyville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Ezra & Amy (Hill) Wilcox. She was a member for 40 years at the Medway Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy & Kerry Lynch of Medway, Ohio, Mary Paulette Vandegriff of New Carlisle; grandchildren, Naomi Rae, Kaylin Virginia & Andrew Xiao; a sister, Eunice Carroll of Nashville, Tennessee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vandegriff.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday October 23, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Melvin Vansickle and Rev. Steve Lookbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Medway Baptist Church, 11027 Gerlaugh Rd., Medway, Ohio 45341.
