Gerald F. Upton

Gerald F. Upton, 67, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Heartland of Bellefontaine after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Waynesville, Ohio on December 16, 1941 the son of the late Willard and Elizabeth (Childers) Upton.

On November 19, 1963 he married Carolyn Stiles. He is also survived by their son, G. Todd Upton and daughter, Amy Oglesbee; four grandsons, Kyle, Cole, Brandon Upton and Kameron Oglesbee; sisters, Sharon Milburn, and Joyce (Don) Saunders, brothers, James (Sharon) Upton, and Lee Upton; uncle, Oliver Upton, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Bingham; brother-in-law, Eugene Bingham, and sister-in-law, Norma (Conley) Upton.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 2 PM in the New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, Ohio.

The family was served by TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR AND FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
