Richard W. Rouch


Richard W. Rouch, 84, of Medway, OH died peacefully on March 19, 2009. He was born on June 18, 1924 in Springfield, Ohio the son of the late Wayne and Marie (Schwartz) Rouch.

Richard served in WWII in the Army. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Carlisle, OH. He retired as a manager from the State of Ohio Dept. of Taxation, Dayton, OH. He was also a member of the C.L.P.O.A. and the V.F.W. of Medway, OH.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, Franceous (Fran); daughter, Kathy and her husband Jim Herron, of Jackson, MI; seven grandchildren, Amy and her husband Jim Wooden, of MI, Greg and his wife Melissa Herron, of MI, Kimberly and her husband Chris DeGroff, of MI, Christine and her husband David Ducat, of VA, Brian Herron, of MI, Ricky Herron, of MI, Jenny Herron, of MI; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, June Gershbacher; brothers, Jerry Rouch, Russell and his wife Cis Rouch, Ronnie and his wife Colleen Rouch; brother-in-law, Jim McCann, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a infant daughter, Deborah and infant sons, Stephen and Steven; sister Marjorie McCann; and two brothers, Dale and Don Rouch.

A memorial service will be held on 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Chapel of Peace, in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
