Minnie I. Reeder


Minnie I. "Buddie" Reeder, 88, of Springfield, went to heaven to collect her wings at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday September 2, 2008 in St. John's Center. She was born May 16, 1920 in Woodstock, OH to Royal Bailey and Zella Imo (Black) Greene.

Buddie was a member of Central Christian Church and the Elderly United.

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Sharon and Les Broock, Springfield; 2 granddaughters, Shelly Broock and Mindi Broock-Spence; 2 great grandchildren, Shane and Andrew; 2 sisters, Erma Schooley and Betty Nolan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, her husband, Todd Reeder and stepmother, Clara Greene, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Reihing officiating. Friends may call one hour prior, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the A.L.S. Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
