Cheryl L. Ruhe


Cheryl I. "Cherry" Ruhe, 61, of Springfield, formerly of Cincinnati, passed away Friday April 4, 2008 after a long hard battle with Multiple Sclerosis and Polio. She was born February 9, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell and Anna (Simon) Hess.

Survivors include her courageous and loving husband of forty-three years, Paul who was by her side in sickness and health; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Don Jacks of Springfield; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Ruth Ruhe of Springfield; Shane and Janet Ruhe of Springfield; Paul and Victoria Ruhe of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Spurlock and late husband Bill; Naomi and David Smithers, Carol and Joe Forwalt, Wilma and Don Durbin; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Rose Hess; Jim Hess; Chuck and Betty Hess; Denny and Jackie Barrett; ten grandchildren, Krystal, Kyle, Zach, Ryan, Brittany, Elijah, Teddy, Sarah, Emma and Tyler; several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday April 8, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 12 p.m.

Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
