Richard A. "Bud" Printz
Richard A. "Bud" Printz, 87, of Springfield passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in the St. John's Care Center.
He was born on June 28, 1920 in Springfield, the son of James and Ethel (Parish) Printz.
Bud served our country in the United States Army during World War II. He was employed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for over thirty-seven years as a Foreman in the sheet metal division for special purposes in use for aircraft and the space program. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Moose, Fraternal Order of Eagles 397 Aerie, and the VFW Post 1031.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Alice Printz of Fairborn, grandson, Wrich Printz of Los Angeles, California, several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Dorothy Jett of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth of fifty years, two sisters: Mary Jenkins and Freda Hewitt, and one brother, Jim Printz.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 10:30 am in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Reverend Julie Carmean officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of service. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
