Rickie Lee Parker


Rickie Lee Parker, 15, went to be with the Lord, unexpectedly, Tuesday April 15, 2008.

Rickie was in the 8th grade at Rockway School. He was an active member of 4-H for many years and recently participated in the Shawnee athletic program on the wrestling and football teams.

Those who loved him and are left behind include; his mother, Jennifer Comer and fiancé Randy Miller and close friend Kasey Miller; 2 sisters, Beth and Rachel Comer; grandparents, Catherine and Rodgers O'Neill, Shirley Dasch, great grandparents, Patty and Reaford Comer and Monah Camden all of Springfield; Doris and Jerry Dunham, Hillsboro, OH; numerous aunts and uncles including, Brian and Jill Roberts; and many cousins.

Rickie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rick Comer and great grandfather, William Camden.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Pastor Bud Rose officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rickie will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Donnelsville, next to his grandfather, Rick. The First Assembly of God Church, 515 S. Burnett Rd., will be holding a special Memorial Service and potluck from 2 to 4 p.m. this coming Sunday, April 20, 2008. Memorial donations may be made to the "On the Rise Program", Debbie McCullough, Director. Rickie was excited to be part of this program and thought highly of it.
