Patricia Ann Parks
Patricia Ann Parks, 78, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Hearth and Home Assisted Living Facility.
She was born on November 6, 1929, daughter of Mary and John Lyons.
Patricia graduated in the Class of 1947 from Enon High School and was a devoted housewife and homemaker for her family. She was a past State Representative for the Farm Bureau in Washington D.C. and a dedicated member of the Ohio Farm Bureau. She took much pride in her volunteering work at Community Hospital and was a member of the Rocky Point Chapel.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Parks; mother, Mary L. Lyons; and grandparents, John and Vera Daugherty.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Michael L. Parks of Springfield, Larry K. Parks of Columbus, and Peter L. Parks and Kris Blaker of West Liberty; sister, Barbara Lou Johnson of Enon; and 3 granddaughters, Mariah L. Parks of Cincinnati and Ashley and Lauren Parks of Columbus.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 at JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME- Springfield with funeral service on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 10 AM. Pastor Eric Mounts officiating. Interment to follow at Enon Cemetery.
