Mary L. Paul


Mary L. Paul, 74, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday November 30, 2007 at Heartland Nursing Home after two years of failing health.

She was born August 26, 1933 in Springfield the daughter of the late John & Agnes (Willmeth) Surber.

Mary was a loving, dedicated wife and mother, and she adored her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her and knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Norman "Bill" Paul; a son, Tom and his wife Judy Paul; a grandson, Jeremy and his wife Inge Paul; a granddaughter Shante Paul; a brother, Henry "Don" and his wife Bonnie Surber; a sister, Peggy Peters all of Springfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie and Terry Paul; a brother, John "Jack" Surber; a sister, Agnes "Sissy" Shroyer.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday December 4, 2007 at the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Ferncilff Cemetery.
