Jeffrey T. Phillipp


Jeffrey T. Phillipp, 45, of Springfield, died peacefully at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2008 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Berea, Ohio on June 29, 1962 the son of Charles and Janet (Harnegie) Phillipp.

He had been employed as Assistant Manager of Quality Control for Yamada North America, South Charleston where the support of his coworkers will be forever appreciated. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Survivors in addition to his parents of Berea, OH include his wife of 20 years Julie (Rankin) Phillipp, three children Jordan, Josie and Jay Phillipp all at home; sister and brother-in-law Deborah and Dan Speck, Clinton, OH; two brothers and sisters-in-law Norbert and Lori Phillipp, Strongsville, OH, Gregory and Lisa Phillipp, Dayton, OH who were instrumental in his final care along with his sister in law, Rhonda (Rankin) Readler and his mother and father in law, Sonny and Carolyn Rankin; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to the Jeffrey Phillipp Memorial Account c/o any Key Bank Branch location. All donations will be directed to an education fund to benefit the Phillipp children.
