Shirley Tresslar Morgan


Shirley Tresslar Morgan, 81, of Troy, Ohio, formerly of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Saturday October 27, 2007 at Caldwell House, Troy.

She was born August 17, 1926 in Middletown, Ohio the daughter of the late Oren P. & Mary (Fuller) Tresslar. She graduated from Troy High School, class of 1944. She retired after 30 years of service from Standard Register.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Morgan of Deleon Springs, Florida, James (Susan) Morgan of Medway, Ohio; two daughters, Mary Beth (Mel) Kemmer of Troy, Amy (Jack) Evans of Tipp City, Ohio; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Dennis (Anita) Tresslar of Tipp City, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Nancy Morgan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Benjamin "Biff" Morgan III; a granddaughter, Jennifer Morgan; and a sister, Patricia Harrison.

Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday October 30, 2007 at the Medway United Methodist Church, Medway, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Medway United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Berry officiating. Burial will be in Medway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or the New Carlisle Library. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
