Sandra Kay Manning


Sandra Kay Manning, 60, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008 in her residence.

She was born on December 1, 1947 in Enon, Ohio the daughter of Ralph and Clarabel E. (Breckenridge) Russell.

Sandra is remembered by her family as one who opened her heart to all especially those in need of help. She never hesitated taking people into her home and providing shelter, food and a mother's love. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, Cottle Jr. Manning of Springfield, four daughters and three sons-in-law: Loretta Lynn and Ronnie Sr. Washington of Virginia; Karen Eileen Cline of Springfield; Eva Jane Elizabeth and Alphonso Jr. Price of Virginia; and Joelean Chennelle and Elzie Davis of Springfield; one sister and brother-in-law, Tonia Sue and Douglas Coale of Springfield, one brother and sister-in-law, William and Shirley Russell of Springfield, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step father, Louis Vernon Keeton, brother, James Russell and her son-in-law, Ragan Demry Fields.

A memorial open house will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in the family home, 1821 Lagonda Avenue from 3-8 pm.

The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY.
