Rebecca A. Moosbrugger


Rebecca A. (Mills) Moosbrugger, 66, of New Carlisle passed away Friday evening, September 12, 2008 in her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born September 21, 1941 in Mishawaka, Indiana, the daughter of Maynard K. Mills and Phoebe J. (Huff) Rapp.

She was employed by the Tecumseh Local Schools for over 20 years. Becky played an active role in her church and the New Carlisle Community Chorus where she was President. She thoroughly enjoyed knitting and sewing and nothing compared to taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 21 years, Martin J. Moosbrugger; mother, Phoebe J. Rapp of Apopka, Florida; one daughter and son-in-law, Joanne G. and George Hemingway of Dayton, Ohio; two sons and daughters- in-law, David P. and Lisa Lindamood of Dayton, Ohio and R. Brian and Kimberly Lindamood of Springfield, Ohio; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold M. and Janice Rapp of Apopka, Florida and Gordon C. and Renita Rapp of Fairborn, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Darrell Hedric of Oxford, Ohio; four grandchildren, Eric, James, Kara and Matthew Lindamood; numerous nieces and nephews and cousin and close friend, Lola Chaney of Cincinnati,Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her father, Maynard K. Mills and step-father, Halbert Rapp.

A celebration commemorating Beckys life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 7 p.m. in the St. Luke United Methodist Church in Fairborn, with Pastor Merle Walter officiating.

Family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the James Cancer Hospital, 300 West Tenth Avenue, Suite 519, Columbus, Ohio 43210 or the New Carlisle Community Chorus.
