Rebecca J. "Becky" Midgley, 55, of Springfield, died Saturday evening, September 6, 2008 in Springfield Regional Medical Center, E. High Campus following three years of failing health. She was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on April 22, 1953 the daughter of Pearl E. and Margaret A. (Mercer) Duhl.

Becky is survived by her mother, Margaret A. Duhl of Urbana; husband of 36 years, William E. Midgley; three daughters, Amanda M. (James A.) Boyd of Springfield, Betsy J. (Peter G.) Garno of Arizona, and Pamela at home; four granddaughters, Ariel, Allison, Ciera, and Tabitha; a sister, Angie (Chuck) Salyer of St. Paris; three brothers, Jerry (Shirley) Duhl of N. Lewisburg, Tom (Penny) Duhl of Urbana, and Chuck (Tammy) Duhl of Urbana; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and two grandchildren, Katie and Justin Garno.

Becky's funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
