Richard E. "Dickie Doo" McWhorter, 54 of Springfield, Ohio passed away January 6, 2008.

He was born May 16, 1953 a son of Arthur and Jennitha McWhorter.

Dickie Doo, as he was known by most leaves to cherish his memory three brothers; George (Arlean), Charles (Irene), and David (Theresa) McWhorter, a sister; Marcella (Willie) White and son; Mark McWhorter all of Springfield, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including special friends; Angela Gilbreath, Gerald and Sheree Caldwell and a special niece; Danielle McWhorter- Harper.

Visitation for Richard will be Friday, January 11, 2008 from 9-11 a.m. in the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow in the church at 11 a.m. Arrangements by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are requested to the Community Mercy Hospice 1343 N. Fountain Blvd Springfield, Ohio 45504.
