Ronald A. McCaughey, 55, of Springfield died unexpectedly in his home.

He was born November 11, 1952 in Springfield the son of the late Cecil M. and Betty (Elliott) McCaughey.

Ron was a 1970 graduate of South High School and worked as a welder most of his life.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law William D. and Brenda McCaughey of Page, Texas; two granddaughters Madison and Kellie; two brothers Steve McCaughey of Springfield and Robert McCaughey; twin sisters and a brother-in-law Bonny McCaughey, Brenda and John Emmons all of Springfield; and three nieces.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The family will receive visitors for one hour prior.
