Peggy Macfarlane
Peggy Jane Macfarlane, 64, went to be with her Lord Sunday, July 22, 2007.
She was born December 13, 1942, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the daughter of Leonard C. Beair and Edith Wren.
Peggy was very active in her community, serving as a board member for Project Woman, as well as being a member of The Sertoma Club, and various other organizations. She was also an instructor at the Leadership Academy.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children Terry L. (Sarah) Harris, Tim T. (Miyuki) Harris, Judith L. Frye, and Kathleen J. Overman; grandchildren Terry Sean Harris, Alisha M. Harris, Jerika Nguyen, Charlize Harris, Heather N. Radel, Jennifer Thorn, Mary C. Frye, Joi L. Macfarlane, and Miki S. Harris; great grandchildren Jamie Thorn and David Lee; her stepfather Wilbur Wren, a brother Doug Wren, a sister in The Lord Nola Lee, and numerous other friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Eddie Beair.
A celebration of Peggy's life will be held Friday at 11:30am in The First Church of The Open Bible, Selma Road, with Pastor James Martin officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. The family is being served by THE JONES KENNEY ZECHMAN Funeral Home.
