Mary Ellen Mulvain
Mary Ellen Mulvain, 90, of New Carlisle, formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. She was born on December 13, 1917 in Delaware, Ohio the daughter of the late Quinton and Bessie Foster.
On February 3, 1937, she married Herbert Mulvain, who preceded her in death in 1983. Mary Ellen loved to sew, crochet, play cards, read mystery novels, and play bingo. They had two children, Herbert Maynard Mulvain of Kissimee, Florida and Marsha (Mulvain) Benson of New Carlisle.
She is also survived by five granddaughters and eleven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a great granddaughter.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Carlisle.
The family would like to thank the loving staff at Dayview Care Center for taking such good care of Mary Ellen over the past four years.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11AM with visitation one hour prior at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle. Burial will take place at 2PM in St. Mary's Cemetery in Marion, Ohio.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Dayview Care Center, 1885 N. Dayton-Lakeview Rd., New Carlisle, Ohio 45344.
