Erma M. Maloney


Erma M. Maloney, 84, a lifetime resident of Springfield died Sunday, September 7, 2008 in Oakwood Village. She was born April 10, 1924 in Springfield the daughter of Elden G. and Ethel (Moore) Shoop.

Mrs. Maloney was a 1942 graduate of Springfield High School and was an active member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and Don Miller of Springfield; one granddaughter Lisa (Josh) Smittkamp of Springboro, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband William F. Maloney in 1998; a brother Walter Shoop and a sister Helen Kruft.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM. in Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Daniel M. Powell officiating. Friends may call in the church from 10-11 AM. The family is being served by the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
