Bennie Louise Miller


Bennie Louise "Blue" Miller, 88, of Springfield, died at 8:45 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 in Oakwood Village Care Center. She was born February 6, 1921 in Jackson County, NC to John W. and Maude (Buchanan) Baumgardner.

She retired as a commercial seamstress from Triad Products.

Survivors include 2 sons, Leo Paul (Mary Ellen) Miller, Jr., Sterling Heights, MI and Wesley T. Miller, Springfield; a granddaughter, Jennifer; a brother, Ralph Baumgardner, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Donna Haney and Mary Crabtree.

Her husband, Leo P. and 2 sisters, Ola and Faye, preceded her in death.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be held at a later date. Conroy Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
