Brenda J. Johnson McConnell
Brenda J. Johnson McConnell, 67, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center.
Brenda was born September 20, 1940 in Springfield, Ohio a daughter of Fred and Herberlene (Coleman) Johnson. She had been employed at Oakwood Village as a Nurse's Aid.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memory three sons; William "Rocky" and Brent Johnson both of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Steven Johnson of Springfield, Ohio, a daughter; Tammy Johnson Reed of Springfield, Ohio, four brothers; Lamar Johnson of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Freemont "Peewee" Johnson of Toledo, Ohio and Michael and Gregory Johnson , two sisters; Mary Ann Smith and Charlene Johnson, special friends; Charlene Bibbs, Poma Davis, G. T. Edwards, Judi Harrod and the John Long family all of Springfield, Ohio, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert "Bob" McConnell and two brothers; Wali Hasan and Frederick E. Johnson.
Visitation will be Monday, November 5, 2007 from 4-6 p.m. in El Bethel Temple. Funeral services will follow in the church at 6 p.m. with Elder Michael Cooper officiating. Burial Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
