Ronald Eugene Lucas, age 65 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at his home.

He was born October 2, 1942 in Franklin Twp., OH, the son of the late Earl & Ethel (Moore) Lucas.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by a brother Charles Lucas and a sister Rose Polly.

Survivors include 2 sisters Shirley Moore, and Charlotte Fry and husband Bill, 3 brothers Jimmy Lucas and wife Nancy, Lloyd Lucas and wife Debbie, and Alvin Lucas, 2 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including David Jordan and Debbie Smith.

There will be no services at the request of Mr. Lucas. Arrangements in care of the Jones Kenney Zechman Funeral Home, Springfield.
