Robert Lee Lavender


Robert Lee "Bob" Lavender, 37, of Springfield, passed away at 3:30 AM Tuesday, June 10, 2008.

He was born January 8, 1971 in Springfield the son of Jim and Marvella ( Blevins) Lavender.

Bob is survived by his parents Jim and Marvella of Springfield, three children; Robert, Olivia and Larry, brothers Ernest (Billie) Lavender and James Lavender, Springfield, sister Tracy (Mike) Russell, El Reno, Oklahoma, grand father Eugene Blevins, South Charleston, special friends Chad Adkins and Chuck Parker, Springfield, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved dogs Sugar and Scrapie.

He was preceded in death by his twin sister Roberta (Lavender) Shipley and grand parents Ernest and Vera Lavender and Cloa Blevins.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home with Chaplain Ervan Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
