Ramon Lancaster


Ramon Lancaster, 74, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008.

He was born April 28, 1934 in Springfield the son of the late David & Rose (Levine) Lancaster. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Navistar.

He is survived by his wife, Penny; a daughter, Tammy & Charles Thorpe of Sarasota, Florida; two grandchildren, Shelby & Zachary; two sisters, Gerry Arnold & Marjorie Pappert; two half sisters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday December 14, 2008 at the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the memorial home. Burial will follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.
