Felix P. Lizza


Felix P. Lizza, 76, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord at 3:17 a.m., January 21, 2009 in his residence after a long battle with Parkinson's. He was born July 26, 1932 in Springfield, the son of Antonio and Eleonora (Piantedosi) Lizza.

He had worked as a tool and die maker and planning engineer at Navistar for 50 years retiring in 2000.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Susan (Hoyle); two children, Sue Tormey, West Milton, Ohio and Anthony & Sharon Lizza, Springfield; five grandchildren, Christen and Felicia Lizza, Stephen & Melinda Tormey, Julie and Anne Tormey; one sister, Carmela Lindsay; one niece; three nephews and sister-in-law, Sharon Hoyle.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Dennis Caylor officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Central High School, 1200 E. High St., Springfield, Ohio 45505 or to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
