Ezra E. Lester


Ezra E. Lester, 25, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a bicycle accident Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Miami Valley Hospital. He was born March 24, 1983 in Springfield, the son of Tonyia L. Lester and Eric D. Sparks.

Survivors include his parents; Tonyia L. and John E. Masters, Eric D. and Brenda L. Sparks , four children; Devin D. Lester, Terryn F. Lester, Dameon E. Lester and Aras M. Lester, all of Springfield, grandparents; Roger R. Lester, Pikeville, Kentucky and Phoebe J. Gray of Springfield, two brothers; Michael C. Eanes and Cody A. Eanes, one sister; Erica E. Sparks all of Springfield and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents; Jerry N. and Thelma E. Sparks and Richard A. Gray.

Ezra was loved by all and had many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Holbrook officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Fletcher Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ezra's family.
