William H. King


William H. King, 69, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 in his residence. He was born January 31, 1939 in Johnson County, Kentucky the son of Sebastian and Emma (Estep) King.

Mr. King enjoyed hunting and fishing and had been employed at Tri State Pallet.

Survivors include three children; William (Tammy) King and James H. King (Daniella King) of Springfield, Brian Forrest of Dayton, grandchildren; Kara King, James S. King, Jasmine Rice, Jayana King, Olivia King and Peggy Propst (Amanda Hooten), great grandchild; Aviah Jevedon, three sisters; Savanah Hall, Mary Ann (Buck) Blanton and Eunice Stapleton all of Paintsville, Kentucky, numerous nieces and nephews, good buddies; Wayne Duty and Pat Hainzer and all of his friends and neighbors on Linden Avenue.

He was preceded in death by a sister; Dorothy King, William and James' mother; Peggy King, and his parents.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
