Paul C. Kiger


Paul C. "Papaw" Kiger, 78, of New Carlisle passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Kiger; brother Bill Kiger; and sister Dorothy Mullins.

Paul is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen Kiger; children Chris (Joe) Campbell, Mary (CJ) Nelson, Ginny (John) Knisley, Kenny (Starla) Kiger, and Sonny (Beth) Kiger; 10 grandchildren; sister Jean Brady; many other family and friends.

He was a veteran in the U.S. Marines with service in the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post 9684, Amvets Post 148, and Moose Lodge 2464 of Medway, Ohio. Paul was a fire inspector for many years in Bethel Township Station 1.

Family will have a gathering of friends from 5:00-7:00PM Friday February 13, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial will follow at a later time at Dayton National Cemetery.
