Marjorie L. Kuhn


Marjorie L. "Judy" Kuhn, 89, of Springfield, passed away at 10:39 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008 in Forest Glen Health Campus.

She was born May 25, 1919 in Burdine, KY, one of six children, to Massie and Inez (Bridge) Bridge.

She was reared and schooled in Hanover, PA and married Conwell Kuhn on May 14, 1939. Her and her husband were founding members of Northwood Hills Country Club where she was the Ladies Club Golf Champion in 1972 and 1977. She also enjoyed playing cards with the ladies after a round of golf.

Judy is survived by her husband of 69 years, Conwell G. "Connie" Kuhn; 2 children and spouses, Richard and Linda Kuhn, Springfield and Jacqueline and Richard Parke, Bethesda, MD.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Forest Glen and to Dr. Richard Darr for the excellent care provided to Judy.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Powell officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the American Heart Association.
