Lorrine H. Krull


Lorrine H. Krull, 79, of New Carlisle, passed away Monday January 26, 2009 in Huber Heights. She was born July 5, 1929 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Robert & Helen (Schraudner) Bush.

Lorrine led a rich and full life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Carlisle. Her many interests included horseback riding, camping, road trips, and ballroom dancing. Her love for her many pets was infinite, but she was most passionate about her horse, Rocky. She worked at Globe Industries, then became a stay at home mom while providing in-home child care, she later worked at Yeck Brothers, Dayton. More than anything, she enjoyed her work as manager of Drylick Boarding Stables in New Carlisle, where she worked for 15 years and retired at the young age of 74. She will be lovingly remembered and so very greatly missed.

She is survived by two sons, Chris (Linda) Krull, Dave (Jamie) Krull all of Tipp City; four daughters, Connie (Jack) Eldridge of Danvers, MA, Lynn (Rusty) Schmit of San Dia Park, NM, Lori (Jim) Firsdon of Centerville, OH, Kerri (Tim) Manos of Huber Heights; nineteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years in 1994, John W. Krull.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday January 29, 2009 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Michael Bidwell officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420 or His Hands Extended, 1546 Dialton Rd., St. Paris, Ohio 43072 (Animal Welfare).
