John Victor Klosterman, Sr.


John Victor Klosterman, Sr., 82, of Springfield, formerly of Dayton died April 9, 2007, surrounded by his family.

He was born February 22, 1925 in Dayton, OH to Gregor and Rose (Heyne) Klosterman. He was a graduate of Chaminade High School and the University of Dayton. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served our country proudly. He retired as a loyal comptroller for Srepco Electronics after 39 years. Vic was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, past officer of VFW 1031, lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and Toastmasters. His family and friends will sadly and forever miss him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Drucilla "Dee" (Leen); and a loving father of 7 children, John (Laura) Klosterman, Victoria (Steve) Hill, Mark (Mary Ann) Klosterman, Teresa (Daniel) Reid, Kimothy (Karen) Klosterman, Amy (Walter) Schneider, Jennifer Hyle, 23 grandchildren,7 great grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Millonig, 5 brothers, Ronald, Gregory, Eugene, Louis and Howard Klosterman. A sister, Thelma Lewis and a brother, Paul Klosterman, preceded him in death.

Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home, Springfield, OH from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in St. Teresa Church, Springfield. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Central High School Foundation or Clark County Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.
