Robert S. Jackson II
Robert S. "Bob" Jackson II, 57, of New Carlisle, died Monday evening, March 10, 2008 in The Ohio State University Medical Center.
He was born in Springfield on March 22, 1950 the son of Robert S. and Barbara Joyce (Zimmerman) Jackson.
Bob retired as a truck driver from HFL Transport/Vining Broom after 23 years of service. He was a member of Chapter 61 of the Mended Hearts Club, enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a self-taught computer whiz.
He is survived by his mother of Herford, Arizona; wife of 28 years, Linda J. (Hentze) Jackson; three children and spouses, Jodi and Matthew Granello of Port St., Florida, Scott and Sally Flarida of New Carlisle and Ben and Cathy Flarida of Hillsboro; a sister, Barbara Adams of Herford, Arizona; three brothers, Donald Jackson (Kim Austin) of Springfield, David (Melissa) Jackson of Springfield and James Jackson of Phoenix, Arizona; ten grandchildren; one great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9-11:00 a.m. Saturday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Ferncliff Cemetery.
