Nancy J. Jodon


Nancy J. Jodon, 71, of Springfield passed away peacefully Thursday evening, January 3, 2008 in the Mercy Medical Center.

She was born April 8, 1936 in Springfield, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Ruth H. (Wolf) Dingledine.

Nancy loved her cats and crocheting. She was a former member of the Machinist Club and the Union Club in Springfield.

Survivors include her three sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Lee Gilliland of Springfield, Randy and Dana Gilliland of Marysville, Ohio and Steven Gilliland of Springfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Sonny and Tonda Dingledine of Springfield; one grandson, Dakota Gilliland; one nephew, Todd (Tracy) Dingledine and their children, Stephanie, Zachary and Ashley and all of Nancy's "special dinner friends". She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Ronnie Lloyd Gilliland.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 7, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
