Mary Louise Jones


Mary Louise (Shaffer) Jones, 59, of Beavercreek, passed away at 10:00 AM Sunday, October 26, 2008 in Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 22, 1949 in Springfield, the daughter of Ray and Florence (Schwan) Shaffer.

Mary was very much a "people person" and made many friends where ever she went. She had been employed at Target in Beavercreek and at Bob Evans and Frisch's in Fairborn and Springfield.

Survivors include three sons; Andrew (Tyese) Wilson, Toledo, Brenton "Bart" (Kim) Bartee, Urbana and Brian Bartee, Springfield, three grandchildren; Ayana Wilson, Reagan Bartee and Alex Merts, one sister; Janet Madder, Springfield and one brother in law; William Madder, Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Friend may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
