Lola B. Jackson


Lola B. Jackson, 79, of West Vanlear, KY formerly of Springfield, died August 1, 2007.

She was born April 28, 1928 in Rock House, KY to Burnie and Dora (Howard) Montgomery. She worked as a cabinet maker for Springfield Cabinet Works for a number of years.

Lola is survived by her children, Peggy (Hans) Leinasars, Springfield, Elizabeth (Gary) Carlisle, Sharon (Joe Kedge) McCauley, Kentucky, Blossom (Douglas) Greene, South Charleston, OH, James (Kathy) Jackson, Springfield, Floyd (Linda) Jackson, Washington, Shawn (Cheryl) Jackson, South Charleston, OH, Velden (Gwyn) Isaac, Mike (Katherine) Isaac, South Charleston, OH and Anthony (Michelle) McFadden, daughter-in-law Cathy Jackson both of Springfield; 2 sisters, Myrtle Helton, Salyers, KY and Julie Ratliff, Paintsville, KY; special sister in law, Maxine Long; special cousin, Garlin Montgomery and special friend, Maxine Ambergie; 34 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John J. Jackson in 1997; son John J. Jackson, 4 sisters, Lucy Risner, Lottie McFadden, Geraldine Click and Shirley Montgomery; 3 brothers, Charlie and Roy Montgomery and Paul Howard.

Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. The family will be accepting friends at Shawn and Cheryl Jackson's in South Charleston. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
