Joseph B. Johnson


Joseph B. Johnson, 58, a lifetime resident of Springfield died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in Community Hospital. He was born March 1, 1950 in Springfield the son of Leroy and Carrie (Tingley) Johnson.

He is survived by seven children Tina (Dave Bayne) Johnson, Cheryl Johnson, Greg (Lea) Johnson, Tracy (Wayne) Brewer, Jeremiah (Amanda) Johnson, Jessie (Mike) Holmes and Jason Johnson; two brothers Dale (Connie) Johnson and Todd (Sheila) Johnson; his former wives and mothers of his children Judy Gatewood, Sherrie Johnson and Cheryl Cydrus, all of Springfield; twenty-two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call Saturday from 2-5 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 5:00 PM. in the Memorial Home. Interment in Somerford Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
