Gary Lee Jackson


Gary Lee Jackson, 63, formerly of Springfield died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 in Kilgore, Texas. He was born September 24, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio.

Gary worked most of his life as a machinist at Carmichael Machine Shop in Springfield. He loved to camp and fish.

His survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Barbara (Laughlin) Jackson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Jackson, Jr. and Pamela A. Jackson of Kilgore, Texas, Terry and Penny Jackson of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, with two more great-grandchildren on the way.

He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Eugene Jackson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where the funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsman Hospice Foundation, 219 West Butler Street, Gilmer, Texas 75644-2503.
