William H. Gannon


William H. Gannon, 76, of West Liberty, passed away at 10:20 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in Mary Rutan Hospital.

He was born January 18, 1932 in Springfield, the son of Wilbur H. and Florence A. (Brennan) Gannon.

Mr. Gannon was a member of the V. F. W., the American Legion and the Eagles. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include a daughter Patty Ann (Terry) Richardson of Urbana, three grand children; Trista, Kyle and Matt, three great grand children; Trenton, Sheigh and Haylei, a sister Jackie Brentlinger, Urbana, a cousin Don Lee, Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving companion and partner Mattie Jackson, a brother Robert , sisters Betty Brady and Patty Ann Gannon and his parents.

A celebration of Mr. Gannon's life will be held at the Liberty Square, 103 South Street, West Liberty from 4 Until 6 PM Monday, April, 21, 2008. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
