Sharon L. Gilbreath
Sharon L. Gilbreath, 61, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008.
Sharon was born on September 2, 1947 in Springfield, Ohio to the union of William and Eleanor Hill. She died unexpectedly in the early morning hours of October 11, 2008. Sharon was one of five siblings—the sister of Pamela Fields, Randall & Martin Smith and William Myers. Sharon grew up in Springfield, Ohio and graduated from Springfield South High School in 1965.
Sharon's career experiences—ranging from child care to assisting the elderly or disabled—always involved helping others. Throughout her life, she found joy in music, roses, pets (especially cats) and the color red.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father William, her mother Eleanor, her brother Martin and her sister Pamela. She is survived and remembered by two brothers (Randall and William), her four children (Rochelle, Alfred, Erica and Devin), two granddaughters (Brandy and Deja), two grandsons (David Jr. and Marcus) and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
