Rose M. Guidry


Rose M. Guidry, 62, of Springfield passed June 30, 2007 in the Community Hospital. She was born February 17, 1945 in Springfield, the daughter of Clifford M. and Pauline R. (Whims) Riddle.

Survivors include her fiancée, Terrance L. Davis Sr.; three daughters, Pauline Rosina Reed, Rose Marie Royce and Kristyn Lee Davis; two sons, William Buford Rushing and Richard Lamar Blankenship; two sisters, Elizabeth J. (Betty) Hall and Joyce Kinnear; two brothers, James W. Riddle and Timothy W. Riddle and Timothy J. Whims; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Arthur W. Whims; two brothers, Clifford M. Jr. and Robert L. Riddle.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 from 10-11 a.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
