Marlin E. Finlaw


Marlin E. Finlaw, 77, of Springfield, passed away at 9:25 PM Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Heartland of Springfield following a brief illness.

He was born August 4, 1930 in Greene County, Ohio the son of Estle and Donna (Free) Finlaw. Mr. Finlaw retired from Delco Moraine in Dayton and was a member of the Delco Moraine Campers Club.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Wilma Jean (Finney ) Finlaw, his children; Larry Finlaw of Peebles, Ohio, Brenda Baker, Rick (Connie) Finlaw and Edward Finlaw all of Springfield, eleven grand children and several great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents Estle Finlaw and Donna Wood and his son in law David Baker.

Friends may visit with the family from 6 until 8 PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grape Grove Cemetery.
