Mary L. Fields


Mary L. Fields, 84, of Springfield passed away November 5, 2008 in Mercy St. John Center. She was born July 12, 1924 in Talladega, Alabama a daughter of Amos and Bessie Marie (Jackson) Headen.

Mrs. Fields had been employed as an Executive Secretary at W.P.A.F.B. and retired after many years of dedicated service.

Mrs. Fields leaves to cherish her memory her son; Charles "Chuckie" Fields of Columbus, Ohio, brother; Ronald Hill of Springfield, Ohio, special nieces; "Cookie", "Winkie", Winifred and "Dinkie" and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Fields, sister; Elise and niece; Skipper.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
