Ilene Ferguson


Ilene (Caudill) Ferguson, 84, of Springfield, died Thursday March 5, 2009 in Springfield Regional Medical Center - East High Campus.

She was born September 5, 1924 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, the daughter Alvin and Vesta Caudill.

She was a member of Maiden Lane Church of God.

Survivors include her children Linda L. King; Larry and Linda Hatter; Mark and Rhonda Drummond and Tammy and Troy Owen all of Springfield; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carrie Kahler and Ann Yoakum and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Fergie"; son James Hatter; grandson Clarence King and son-in-law, Terry King; one sister and six brothers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday in LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday March 9, 2009 with Pastor Mark Martin officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
